When I was very small, I have heard about a lot of rumors about the features of people from different areas. As I was from south part of China, so the north part was believed to be cold and people were rude. My mother and her friends always discussed the northern people. They said people there were tall and spoke in the loud way. But as I grew up and went to high school, I have met many friends who were from northern part. Most of them were polite and different from people's common idea. I realize prejudice exists in different areas, and the worse situation is that most people believe it.
